Fall Semester 2020 and Holiday Concert Cancelled
Despite our hopes that things would change significantly in time for the
Fall Semester, it seems clear that that will not be the case. As such,
the Board has determined that the only safe course of action is to cancel
the Fall Semester of rehearsals and the 2020 Holiday Concert.
2020 Spring Concert Cancellation
Dear Friends of The Mendelssohn Club:
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Crisis, in keeping with the
advice of medical professionals and our government leaders, and out of
an abundance of caution, the Mendelssohn Club of Albany, Inc., has
reluctantly had to cancel its Spring Concert which was scheduled to take
place on Friday, May 15, 2020, at historic Chancellor's Hall. Our valued
subscribers will be contacted individually with further information.
The Mendelssohn Club encourages all its supporters to observe the
cautionary social distancing protocols and to stay healthy in order
to join us as we continue our musical journey as the Capital Region's
oldest continually performing arts group.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Yours in Song,
Michael Donegan
President, The Mendelssohn Club of Albany, Inc.
